AscendTMS alternative for small brokerages
AscendTMS bills per user. QRC Dispatch is $99 a month for the whole brokerage: unlimited users, unlimited offices, month to month. If you landed on Ascend when LoadPilot shut down, this page is for you too.
The math at your size
Ascend's current rate card is Basic $69, Premium $119 and Pro $149 per user per month, with no free plan. QRC is $99 flat. Here is what that comes to:
| Users | Ascend Basic | Ascend Premium | Ascend Pro | QRC |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | $69 | $119 | $149 | $99 |
| 3 | $207 | $357 | $447 | $99 |
| 5 | $345 | $595 | $745 | $99 |
| 10 | $690 | $1,190 | $1,490 | $99 |
AscendTMS figures from thefreetms.com/pricing as of September 2026.
One person on Basic is the only row where Ascend costs less. The second seat flips it, and every hire after that widens it.
What $99 covers
Duplicate a load from the dashboard. Same shipper, same lane, next week: one action on the load's row opens a copy pre-filled from the original. Change what changed, save.
Works on your phone. The dashboard turns into cards, the load form goes full-screen and is built for a thumb, not shrunk from a desktop.
Rate Confirmation and invoice come off the load. Build the Rate Confirmation, send it, invoice from the same record. PDFs are generated for you.
Carrier check at the door. FMCSA authority and status are pulled when you add a carrier.
QuickBooks, one direction. Invoices and carrier bills push to QuickBooks Online. QuickBooks never changes a rate, a date or a name on your loads, contacts or invoices.
Bring your address book. Export customers and carriers from Ascend as a spreadsheet and import the file. QRC maps by column name.

Coming from LoadPilot?
AscendTMS acquired LoadPilot in February 2026, and LoadPilot shut down that March. If that is how you ended up paying per seat, the page written for you is here: LoadPilot is gone. Per-seat pricing doesn't have to be next..
Questions
Customers and carriers, yes. Export them as a spreadsheet and QRC maps the columns by name. Past loads, no. Your load history in QRC starts the day you start.
No. Month to month. The account owner cancels from Settings → Subscription, through the Manage Subscription button. It opens Stripe's own portal. No call, no email.
Two ways. The demo is open right now with no signup. The trial is 30 days for first-time subscribers, needs a card, and bills $99 a month after that unless you cancel. If you've subscribed before, there's no second trial. Billing starts at checkout.
